Small Dollar Donations Don't Demonstrate Democracy
Molly Kohn: Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of the biggest small dollar fundraisers on Capitol Hill today. She asks how are these donations raised? They're not just people over the transom waking up one morning and deciding to send her $10, she says. Kohn: I do still root at least in theory for the positive force that small dollar donations can be up against PAC money but it does not necessarily mean that these are being solicited in a good faith manner.
