There's not really a dichotomy between emotions and reason right I mean we need emotions for us to be able to reason correct. One way to think about it is that emotions set the priorities. You know, if you're attracted to somebody say I want to get close to that person. And rationality and that emotion set the goals rationale that tells you how to get them.
