Is There a Guarantee of the Holy Spirit in Private Revelation?

By its nature, it's a private revelation. It's addressed to a particular person or a particular group of people. So there's another step then when this person is sharing that message with others. That is something different going on from what happens in public revelation. The person themselves may have received a genuine revelation, but their ability to articulate that to other people as a different matter.
