The Evolution of Platonic Philosophy

Augustine of Aphorism is a commentary on the New Testament. In it, he praises Plato for his Platonic philosophy and ideas about heaven and hell. He also criticizes later pagan theology as being too blandly approving of their many gods. Augustine's fellow North African Apuleus had written about demons and Manichaeism.
