Army was the first promotional company in LA that did parties for kids 16 to 20 so there was a big market of people that couldn't get into clubs. They would throw events at different halls with DJs and they were able to do the LA sports arena by themselves. I'll never forget one night we were there and they had a 808 drum machine and no one had ever seen a drum machine, he says.
