The Pain of Moving to a New Home

When I was four years old, my parents moved to 8107 Warren Avenue. The path from our driveway to the betchers has no less than one million footprints on it. You can't pick your neighbors, but man did God do a great job at 81st and Warren. When mom was moved out of our house to hospice, the neighbors were outside, clapping for her as she left. We were one giant extended family. Now it's time for a new family to build a house with laughter, little feet, family dinners and holidays.
