The skull of the chimpanzee is included because it's a little bit creepy. The scientific rationale is to get an impression of the overall height you need the skull in there. It also gives a sense of bringing reality into what you're doing computationally. You actually see what you're Doing with this and like it makes it like you said like a bigger impression or impact them.
