The boy looked outside to the chickens that clucked in the yard. The two biggest hens were running around, pecking at the seeds in the dirt. Dad: We're not going to give a fox our best hens, honey. But the fox saved my life. He tipped his hat over his eyes and went to sleep during the heat of the day.
