The Evolution of Bones and Teeth

Paleontology was the coolest science of the century at the time. The popular opinion was that animals who once lived in the tropics and their bones were swept by the great biblical flood into Yorkshire. These were animals who actually lived in a tropical landscape in Yorkshire. It was controversial, but I think the science shaped up very quickly and led to the theory of evolution.
