Partial Driving Automation

IIHS has a new study out this week that you were the lead research scientist on about the habits and expectations of motorists who are using certain partial automation systems. The goal here was really to understand the perceptions and behavior that people who regularly use this technology have. Although it's incredibly technically sophisticated and impressive, they're not self-driving vehicles. Even though they can sometimes give the impression that vehicles can drive themselves with this longitudinal and lateral sustained support, they can't drive themselves.
