I was shaped very early on as a, you know, in the school kind of playground. It's similar to the terraces in many ways. And I think that sort of shaped me as a personality. But there were difficult times, and I didn't want this film to be like a sub-story of please feel sorry for me. All it was was being honest, you know,. Being kind of making it in a, in the football world and looking the way I did. So credit to him really to, because he took a bit of flack for picking me in the first place - but thankfully it worked out.
