The German Government's Plan to Unwound the German Treasury Program
CNN's John Defterios says the U.S. Federal Reserve has a good idea of what it should do with its balance sheet. He argues that by issuing treasury bills at lower interest rates, everyone will be happy. The only loser in this is actually the FDIC because right now they're collecting insurance premium on deposits backed by Fed reserves - which is kind of nonsense.
