Don't Leave a Drain?

Sometimes I make this decision before I even do a diagnostic Thora. If the patient is sounds really septic and it was like a decent size of fusion, if it had a locculation, I may just put in the 14th wrench to start with. So that's the other question then. How are you getting drainage here? Are you manually pumping the stuff out? Are you hanging it to gravity? Are you putting on suction? Does it depend on if you did in fact put in a tube versus just your little Thoric Athar?
