Women in the New Testament and the Early Church

Today we're looking at women in the New Testament and the early church. What restrictions were placed on them because of their sex? And should the New Testament be used as a guide for women's participation in modern churches? We'll get into this later, but there does seem to be a very strong correlation with the prominence of women in roles of leadership and among the clergy.
