Save Endangered Lemers
Ako's work focuses on saving endangered lemers. Lemers are the most endangered primate in the world. Ako is working to learn how to farm a particular edible insect in madagascar called secundry. The insect has been eaten for generations, but hasn't been farmed until recently. We can improve food security and malnutrition while reducing habitat loss in hunting.
