The Importance Factor in Elastic Drift Calculation
The equation to get your inelastic a deformation is c subd times your elastic drift divided by importance factor. At the end of the day, this is a gentle nudge that buildings that have higher occupancies or higher a hazardous materials, risk categories three and four. And so we're encouraging a little tighter drift limit.
