The Meaning Crisis on Social Media
Do you think some of that might explain why we are seeing some of the negative manifestations on social media? We've had a lot of unexplained events happen over the past few years. All of those things would tend to make people, you know, have a crisis of meaning. What if technology which seeks to explain and predict things and make sense of things, rather than giving us meaning, what if that just takes meaning from us further? These are the things that are fun to think about that I don't have much time for these days.
