The Feminist Critique of Christmas
There's also a good feminist critique of Christmas as a holiday that like many holidays means, you know, it's a holiday for some and it's a hell of a lot of work for other people. But there's a scholar named Michaela D'Olea Leonardo who wrote a great article many years ago on the female work of love and ritual I think it's called. And there's a in that in that vein is a lot of really interesting work I'm thinking about gendered critiques of of holidays and and the work of a holiday so that that book would be more like the private work of Christmas but the intimate work of Christmas we do try to cross the sort of public worlds
