Is Isaac Relives Abraham's Greatest Hits?

The last chapter of Genesis 26 focuses almost entirely on Isaac. He receives the same promise as Abraham, commits the same sin as Abraham. So this chapter is just basically repeating for Isaac, things that had already happened for Abraham. It's almost as though Moses is going to say, I'm just going to anthologize Isaac's life in one chapter.
