Culture and Warfare in the Modern World

The 19 80 movie, the final count down, that's not a good movie, but if you like stuff, like i like stuff, it's worth checking out because the premise is easy to understand. The culture had such an influence on the militaries that it kind of determined, at times, how they even fought. You might have a military that, in terms of technology and weapons or and ferocity and numbers and all these other factors, was the equal of its opponent. But because of some cultural question they were inhibited, or maybe even enhanced. And there's nothing more unsatisfying than getting to battle with someone who doesn't share your values.
