The self-harming patient is not likely to come in unless they have a change of heart or unless they have GI upset. So I would suggest using activated charcoal in the early presenter. That's most often the pediatric patient who parents identify that all of the container is missing. We think that acetaminophen concentrations will peak at about the two and a half hour mark and start to be redistributed by the four hour mark.
