Is There a New Inflationary Cycle?

i grew up in an era that we were approaching galloping inflation back in the 19 seventies. There are unusual forces at work as a result of the pandemic, and i think that it is going to be something. It has caused some pain for people, but we're not headed to an ugly new inflationary cycle. If you were me, would you opt into a rothfor one k, or open a mutual or managed fund? I'm after a simple, straightforward solution which allows me to save, but remain flexible. Ok?
