I remember not long after starting work there, it was one of these royal moments. And we were coming to lead a meeting, a meeting that editorial where the paper's supposed to say what it thinks. I took aside one of our leader writers and said, I don't understand, what do we think about the monarchy with the Times? He replied: The Times believes in changing the monarchy.
