The Warning of Retribution and Reward

If there was consequences to breaking the law of Moses, there's also consequences to neglecting the message of Christ. In Deuteronomy chapter 30, God says this: I've set before you today life and good, death and evil. If your heart turns away and you will not hear, but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them, I declare to you today that you shall surely perish. It's a warning to pay attention to. And friends, might we not yawn through the warning? They say, yeah, yeah, let's get to the good stuff. That's the weight of what it means to disregard the words of Jesus who is superior to angels.
