Labor Party - What Kind of Issues Are They Trying to Balance?
Labor party has traditionally been a broad church, but what kinds of issues are their traditional supporters most concerned with? Like the liberal party, the support base of labor has changed and is changing. In recent decades it's had two constituencies. One is that outer suburban area that the liberals are now competing strongly in. The other is the more progressive professional people who are deserting the liberal party. Labor has been trying to balance climate issues, energy issues, between its progressive base and those sorts of traditional mining seats.
