The Model Minority Myth

Asian americans have a history of activism that stretches back to the sixties and beyond. But they are still, sort of, a still sort of excluded from mainstream society. The model minority myth was created precisely around the time when asian Americans were most oppressed. And i think it is heart breaking that so much of our history was erased and kept from us. I really hope that we can all learn how to act in solidarity with each other.
