This is such a huge portion that needs to be addressed and discussed. We have this amazing data using even MRIs showing that let's say females with overweight with a BMI of 27 28 they start doing resistance training and even though they don't lose weight. When you do follow DEXA scans and MRIs you see that the visceral adiposity has changed sometimes up to 40% which is like huge. So that's why it's very important as you know medical providers that when you see patients that are young most of the time females that they tend to get fixated in losing weight 100%. If their BMI is slightly elevated this has changed my practice completely instead of focusing on reducing calories we increase
