Miham'sa's Argument for Vedic Authority
The Miham'sa sutra does not tell us to sacrifice to please the gods or perform rituals out of an absolute religious obligation. Instead, ritual is understood as being parallel to humdrum everyday actions. We have a subtle shift away from concrete goals like money and family and towards heaven as a universal aim. The Veda has always been here, a permanent source of knowledge set down by neither God nor man.
