I played the tuba from seventh grade till I was a junior in college. The only place I could practice where I wouldn't wake up the entire family was in our minivan. My left hand fingers are longer than my right hand fingers, because on the violin, you know, so that's the hand that does the fingerwork and then the right hand does the bow. And also my pinky, like if we look at what normal pinkies do, they're not straight but sort of like, curves. But it's also probably the way your brain is wired, which makes it easier to learn.
