The Importance of Empire
Empires get a bad reputation, but they're an ancient form of human political organization seen throughout history. Successful empires bring riches and security; it's good to be king. While the initial benefits of empire are well documented, so is their historical cycle of decay. The United States will always have some level of legitimate interest in projecting power abroad, but the well-being of its citizens must once again become paramount.
