Is the Islamic Origins of Occasionalism Still Being Understood?
Theories do have a kind of, let's say, natural environment as occasionalism has. It was produced within the Muslim environment, within the Muslim world. But it is apt to be adopted by theologians as well, as Nicolas Melbranche did. He was still like a Christian but that was because he as a Christian theologian was dealing with the same questions and found that answer to be the most convincing one. Christians are in this regard, at least have no differences from Muslims whatsoever,. meaning they believe in an omnipresent and omnipotent God.
