The Importance of Equality in Marriage
When we don't have equality, we undermine so many of the healthy things we want our relationships to be able to do. Cynthia Blakely grew up in a strong feminist household and her husband came from a very orthodox family. She had decided to bury that part of her feminist self. The way the church does relationships actually undermines relationships was the thing that broke my shelf.
