The Death of a Woman in Hysteria

Keir Elmas fell into a deep depression after spending an hour talking to another woman. She was urged to visit relatives in Philadelphia to lift that depression. On her way to see the relatives, she caught cold. She was then prescribed the laudanum, which could be lethal in high dosages. The most likely thing is that she just died from an accidental overdose of laudanum brought on by a misdiagnosis of the common cold.
