When we start practising regularly mindfulness of thinking, the most profound takeaway is, i'm not my thoughts. It's so easy to take them as real. I like the way one of my teachers, socne rempache, puts it, he sas thoughts are real, but not true. The real events happening in the brain. They have an effect on our body and our heart, but they're not the reality itself, the representations. So we know when we're off in a virtual process.
