The Fed's New Operating Framework
Peter Navarrette: I want to paint a more benign interpretation of what happend the past two years. But i do want to go back to that fed conference, the fedlis and the change in the mindset that you ou perceive. The previous decade we had low, low inflation, and the fed's balance sheet was still really large. So i would attribute some of this thinking,. or maybe complacency, what every one would call it, to thechange in the operating framework which place in two thousand n eight.
