What Is the World Going to Be Like?

At some point in the future, technology will allow us to hear people's thoughts. We don't even remotely understand what sort of technology would exist that could accomplish that - but theoretically it will exist. By the time we get to there, i feel like humanity, i hope, if we're still going and we nt wiped ourselves out yet, we'll be in such a different place as an species. Because where humans are right now, we're essentially like grubby little wild animals,. Like we don't function very well in terms of higher levels of consideration. And so maybe that's a bold assumption about how long thats can take, or how humanity might progress.
