VTE in Glioma and Other Cancers - Part 3

Study created first VTE risk prediction model following surgical resection of adult-type diffuse gliomas. Study findings have several clinical implications, including targeted use of anticoagulation in patients with a high VTE risk score and IDH1, IDH2, wild-type disease. These latest findings raise exciting new questions about the complex pathophysiology of VTE in glioma and other cancers.
