The Assyrians and the Babylonians

The Assyrians conquer the northern kingdom and set it to ruin entirely in 722 BC. The Babylonians hold out for quite a while longer, another 140 years until they get crossways at the empire who defeated the Assyrians. And it's there that we get the stories of King Nebuchadnezzar and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego which we haven't covered yet. We're going to go with more like a smoothly carved wooden fist. It's still a fist and it would still hurt, but we want you to like us.
