Casefile True Crime

CHAPTER

Fred West's Confession

Fredric West confessed to a further 9 killings on March 4, 1994. Police found no visible evidence of the deaths or dismemberment of Heather West, Shirley Robinson, or Alison Chambers. No traces of blood were found in any significant areas at 25 Cromwell Street. A military-grade ground-penetrating radar was brought to the house and it identified disturbances six feet below the earth. Fred said that the women he killed were mostly hitchhikers, runaways or sex workers. He'd picked them up from various places in and out of Gloucester before taking them back to his home.
