Paraquat is a liquid herbicide usually used for killing weeds. It's extremely toxic and here in the United States, it's only available to those with a commercial license. A 45 year old truck driver stopped for a drink in Fukuyama Hiroshima on April 30th, 1985. He noticed a bottle of Aronomen C sitting on top of the vending machine. Not wanting to turn down a free beverage, he decided to grab it, take it and drink it. Two days later, the truck driver died in the hospital and Paraquat was found in his vomit.
