In 1999 a study by Rice et al. actively found the absence of a linkage between marker X, Q28 and male homosexuality. So it's just not a thing. And the idea of a single gay gene existing has not died out. This is still something that literature references,. That media references all of the time. I want to say with absolute confidence now that there is not asingle gay gene we have never found on - and chances are we absolutely never will.
