The website case reflects this increasingly diverse society and the fact that states are trying to provide equal access to the law for everybody. As civil rights laws have expanded, you also see this kind of conservative backlash against that expansion. It's also why marriage equality in general, and I think the Obergefell decision in particular is also in danger. But as long as Obergefell survives, no state can prohibit same-sex marriage.
