A third of all the fatalities had nothing to do with the army before the start of the invasion. They were having civilian lives, they were having civilian jobs, or they were in prison. A lot of them have been recruited by the Wagner group which seems to be doing a lot of the fighting around Bakhmout. Do your figures show that they are suffering in quite large numbers? Yes, not only we see a lot of messages from their relatives, and also many people are actually writing to BBC Russian in despair.
