Peruvian President Boluarte's Re-Election Bid Is a Bit Overdue

Peruvian security forces have killed dozens of protesters since last month's ouster of former president Pedro Castillo. Police are reportedly preparing to attack roadblocks the protesters have set up on a number of major Peruvian roads, so the casualty count is likely to rise in the very near future. In Haiti, Haitian police took to the streets of Port-au-Prince on Thursday blocking roads and assaulting the home of Prime Minister Ariel Henri.
