Valerie has 67 hives each yielding some 10 to 12 gallons of honey. Each colony will have consumed about 265 pounds of honey over the year. Valerie shows us the wildflowers on the meadow that feed his bees. In spring the hills are a blaze with wild tulips but in autumn all we see is pale blue chicory.
