The History of Physics
The laws of physics underlying everyday life are completely understood. But we have at least a weak understanding of every experimentally accessible phenomena. We don't understand dark matter and dark energy at the strong level, but there's sort of nothing that is experimentally accessible to which we have no understanding at all. This is going to be sketchy because it's basically the whole history of physics, right? Or at least modern physics.
