The programme is operated by the city, in the sense it's an independent commissioner. Letting this kind of fall by the wayside or have the wrong sorts of people running it is only so disconcerting for them because that means they don't have to have anyone scrutinizing their work and overturning their convictions. Itis prombably not a bad thing, if you do that, i'ms sustaining the programme and keeping the right people there is is important. And it's not obvious that that will happen. There are someome disagreements, which we should get into a moment, but we're generally in agreement on the importance of criminal justice reform. Im about things like the innocence project
