The Problem With Normalizability of the Wave Function in Quantum Gravity

A new paper says there is no equilibrium state in quantum gravity. The probability distribution, which by construction has to be normalized, can never be equal to the modulus squared of the wave function. And so we're saying that in that regime, there simply is no ball rule. It's a fundamental level of quantum gravity.
