The Evolution of Identity and Authentication Since the Early Sixties

The evolution of identity and authentication since the early sixties has been so convoluted that i thought we should spend some time discovering how we got here. In this important transactional world, though, we need to find things to attach to our identity that authenticate who we are. It is one thing to get on twitter and broadcast your love of dave's dancing, but you can't use that love to get money out of an a t m machine.
