The Fall of the Spanish Republic

The war on terror is this last throw of the dice to secure America's position relative to globalizing capital. The declining powers that still have the ability to launch a nuke like Russia are going to be able to hold on to their preeminence by any means necessary. So yeah, multipolarity, the great Satan dethroned, good in many ways, but not something that's necessarily going to lead to an efflorescence of socialism.
